Breat feeding really does help, in two different ways. Early on it helps your uterus shrink back to normal quickly. Later it burns calories at an incredible rate! It's also the healthiest thing, physically and emotionally, for your baby. Don't start solids too soon, as that substitutes a less healthy food for the perfect infant food and slows down your recovery as well.
If there is a chapter of La Leche League in your area, start going to meetings before the baby is born - you'll learn a LOT.
Nothing, however, gets rid of the baby weight instantly. You need to lose it gradually or you will gain it all back in a hurry as soon as the baby is weaned. Give yourself a few months - it's part of the process - it took nine months to put it on, and it's not going to come off in nine days. Breast feeding hurries up the process a lot, but it doesn't mean you'll look like your pre-pregnancy self in a couple of weeks.
Congratulations on your baby, and I hope you'll be fit and happy with yourself in a relatively short time.

It depends on whether or not you gained a lot of weight during your pregnancy or an unhealthy amount of fat due to over eating. Pregnant women do not need to eat much more than an extra 300 calories per day. If you did that, you can probably lose the weight fast. Some women are back to their normal size within a few weeks, usually the women who ate properly while pregnant or go on crazy diets.
If you got fat while pregnant, after your baby is born you are going to have to cut your caloric intake to around 1200 to 1500 calories per day. Eat three meals plus a few light snacks throughout the day to raise your metabolism. Also, start a little weight training to build muscle. Muscle burns more calories so your metabolism will rise. Include about an 30 minutes to an hour each day of physical activity on top of your weight training which you should do for at least 20 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. You'll lose the weight and you might even lose a few extra pounds as well. Once you lose the weight, don't start living an unhealthy lifestyle again. Eat the same and continue to exercise but, you might want to relax a little bit on the exercise if you find that you don't have the time.

Once you get the thumbs up signal from your doc, you can do some stretch exercises. Try getting your hands on Jane Fonda's Post Prenancy Workout CD, or Cindy Crawford's Start Up CD which she did right after she had her baby, to get back into shape.
Its not difficult, you just need to go steady and slowly... Always check with your doctor before you start anything.
Ignore what your friends are saying. They should be discouraging you. Write yourself a good quote and stick it up on your wall. Read it everyday when you wake up. It should motivate you!
GoodLuck!

i think of toddlers look attractive dressed up the two way - yet i think of toddlers are attractive regardless. As for my youngster - I variety of steer far flung from a great style of the mini grownup outfits. a great style of them are too uninteresting or extreme for my flavor. i admire outfits with vivid colorings and animals and that i desire to appreciate dressing my youngster in that stuff at an analogous time as he will enable me (or does not have a decision, bwahaha). yet my mom particularly is going for the mini grownup outfits, so my little guy wears a number of the two.
