Tried updating itunes, reformatting disc. Everything seems normal except when you push play, nothing happens. You can scroll to the middle of a song and push play and nothing happens. You can even hear the sound of the click wheel. The ipod was dried out after being left ouside in the rain o'night.

give it some time to dry up. My garage remote got wet and stopped working but the next day it was fine. Give it time to dry from inside.
