hypochondriac - noun - person who imagines he/she has illness
impunity - noun - to do something with impunity means without penalty - to be exempt from punishment.
infer is a verb - to infer is to deduce from a fact - from the fact that you are wearing football colours, I infer you are going to a game.
intrepid is an adjective - it means brave
predecessor is a noun - it means someone who came before, like your predecessor in a job was the person who did it before you.
propagate is a verb - it means to cause something to grow, loke a plant - you can propagate a plant from cuttings.
repartee is a noun - it means dialogue, usually smart and fast, between people.
scrutinize is a verb - it means to look closely at - like, I scrutinized the accounts.
stipend is a noun - it means a wage or an allowance for performing a job. Used particularly in relation to clergymen.
syndicate can be either a noun or a verb. A syndicate is a group of people who join together for a purpose like owning a racehorse. You can also syndicate a newspaper column by selling it to other newpapers.
vegetate is a verb. It means to do nothing - like you vegetate while I answer your homework questions lol.
