Probably because they keep showing the same kind of scary movies over and over again, without being very original. Sometimes the scary parts look really fake, too. Sometimes I like to watch those scary reality shows, like "Ghost Hunters" and "Scariest Places On Earth" which are about real places that might be haunted. I like those a lot better than some of the scary movies.

One reason is that the older you get, the more removed you are and know it's not real. Also, sort of like if your scared of spiders and you hold one enough times they don't scare ya as much. Not to mention all scary idea's have been played out too many times. Don't you find now that instead of the 'monsters' being scary, the scary stuff is things about germs, warfare, maniacs and all that. Things that could possibly happen in real life

Its in basic terms reason maximum of persons are getting used to psychopathic movies. lower back whilst "Psycho" got here out, human beings have been afraid to take a bathtub ( i'm no longer kidding). yet with the aid of fact then there have been maximum of of those forms of action pictures that rather everyone seems to be use to them. Its so predictable what is going to ensue, each and all the tale lines are the comparable whilst it is composed of psychopath movies.

They think scary is, cut them up
I will be glad when this passes. They don't know scary.
They picked "Sober" by Tool to be the second scariest
video.Nothing against Tool, I brought the CD, but the
creatures in the video made me want to cry when I
first saw it. I wasn't scared, but maybe that's the compassion in me.

Because we are used to it watching on the news every day and stuff. Also there are no new ideas and storys. Most new ones are just rip-offs from Japenese horror movies and older horror movies.

I think probably because a lot of people feel like they've seen it all before, so it's difficult to be surprised by a horror film, since a lot of it can be too dependent on tired cliches if it isn't done well enough.
