I use water-proof mascara. After several hours a little make up remover will do the trick. If it's only a few hours then I have to use soap and water, then make up remover, and soap and water again! It's kind of a pain but I think it's worth it.

An eye makeup remover that is formulated to remove long-lasting eye make-up. Almay makes a great one for sensitive eyes. You can also use something that is oily (baby oil) or creamy (face moisturiser). Just remove your contacts first if you wear them. Good luck!

Eye makeup remover on cotton.
Also, try baby oil. It moisturizes while removing. Also great to remove all makeup, eyes cheeks, etc.

use a waterproof makeup remover... i use the one from sephora, in the little blue bottle... it works like a charm and i love it..
