was it a holiday in the sun while your overdue parking fines pay for themselves? or was it like a scene out of "romper stomper"? do you make friends or enemies? maybe you've visited someone in jail or know someone whose been?

It was the worst experience of my life. Without going into detail, I didn't sleep for almost 48 hours the first 2 days and until I established my place in the pecking order, it was harsh. I will never ever do anything that could send me back. Total time in for me was 5 months a long time ago. Did not make any friends or enemies, just did what it took to be left alone. The trick is to leave in the same condition you were in when you arrived. Don't know what romper stomper is but there were some dustups (fights).

Unfortunately I have experienced jail at no fault of mine. I wound up suing the county for their miscarriage of justice, but while I was in there for a day or so, there were many lesbians and a case of scabies and a lot of lice.

There is a pecking order and I'm glad that I was released. Most in jail deserve to be there and are plotting as they sit in their stench. It is that small percentage like myself who were wrongfully placed there. I just thanked God that I didn't have to be in there any longer and was able to sue the officers and the county that put me there wrongfully.

When you're put in jail for the right reasons that's one thing, but when you're put there out of prejudice, racism, or harassment when you've done nothing wrong, that's another. Many cops should be jailed because the only difference between them and the sludge they jail is a badge.

yes someone stole my identity and commited a crime out of state. it was a dormitory style jail, you were free to walk around and it wasn't all that bad . It made me appreciate little things like trees, clouds, fresh air etc...when I finally proved my wherabouts at the time of the crime and got out.
