Remember, we as humans are over 75% water.
H2O is vital to life on earth or any other planet. Without it, there can not be life. This is why there is so much emphasis placed on whether there is water or ice crystals on the planet Mars. If Mars has evidence of water (or had water at one time) then there is a chance that life existed there - even if it's microscopic.

We would not exist without water. We humans are 65% water. A tomato, at 95% water is little else but water. So it goes for everything we eat and every other creature on the planet. Each depends on water for survival and each bases its existence on water.
The earth is a 'closed system'. That means that every drop of water we will ever have is here now. Only about 3% of all the worlds water is fresh water. The rest is in the oceans.

Water, the only substance on earth that can exist as a vapor, liquid, and solid, is the most abundant substance in the human body. Our blood contains 83% water, they say. A new born baby's weight includes 75% water. It is supposed to be a nutrient.
Where is life without water? The space reasearchers look for water first in any planet because presence of water indicates LIFE!

All organisms are water-based. Like water bottles with a bunch of other junk thrown in moving around (assuming the organism isn't sessile).

we NEED water....it's not a matter of you like it or not....you HAVE to consume water...or you'll die...dehydration and other illnesses
