If I cared about the innocent spouse. This is VERY touchy! "Do not try to do this at home", etc. If you have had a relationship with both of them throughout your life or their marriage, the decision to tattle is anguishing! Because if you tell, you're definitely going to lose one of them as a friend, and you might lose both of them if the innocent spouse suffers from battered spouse syndrome, because the innocent spouse will come to the air of their cheating spouse if they suspect you are hurting them! Bizzare behavior for sure! Only tell the innocent spouse if they will be made fools of by the cheater, or if the cheater is not discreet and is making a mockery of their marriage or relationship.

I would confront the cheating spouse first, and give them a time frame for telling their spouse before I tell them. Explain that they are probably going to get caught anyway, and that the betrayed spouse probably already has a gut feeling something is wrong, and that the kindest thing for everyone, including the other person (non spouse), is to be open and honest with everyone in this threesome.

I don't think so and here is why its best not to get involved. They would probally deny it.....him or her... and then the husband or wife would think your a liar or trouble maker and kiss your friendship goodbye. I have seen that happen many times when it was done with the best of intentions or so you thought. Let nature take its course and sooner or later they will get caught. You can only lie and cheat so long and your going to get caught. Let someone else be the bearer of bad news, not you.
Hey, who knows, I was out with my brother once and someone seen me and assumed I was running around on my husband, so you could jump to conclusions and be dead wrong.

If the person is close to you, maybe you could get a little sneaky & get some evidence. It could be used at a later date in court. If the people close to my boyfriend had done this, maybe he would not have beed screwed in the court system, she was cheating right under his nose, neighbors even seen it while my bf was away at work during the evening.

I think so, but I am not sure. It depends on how well I know the couple. If my husband ever cheated on me, I hope somebody would tell me about it. I would rather know than thinking everything is fine when obviously it is not

Yes I will. I do not like cheaters and disrespect them and should be punished for their actions. Just make sure the person you are planning to say it to she/he won't take it the wrong way and accuse you. No one deserves to be cheated. If a person wants to cheat they better dump their bf/gf before doing it. It could pass on diseases.

it depends on how close you are to the family, because many times it won't be your place to say anything and the couple may blame you for everything that will have gone wrong in the marriage ever sing they found out about the affaire
