All the time. Ever since I was a young lad. Just can't seem to let it go - despite needing to go really urgently! I think it's a privacy / personal space thing, and probably quite common - apart from everyone I ever 'share ' a urinal with!

Don't worry about it - use a cubicle. I do.

my mates got it. he can only pee in a urinal if me or one other mate is next to him! i think when you start going to pubs and clubs peeing infront of strangers is quite a new thing and your willy just gets nervous. I had it. Its so annoying because nothing comes out however busting you were before.
What you need to do is either try going next to one of your mates(who wont take the piss out of you)(excuse the pun), or try just standing there and breaking the deadlock. You might feel a bit silly the first few times but if your still standing there when the urinals go empty it'll come.
Good luck

Pee where you like! A cubicle is fine.......when you think of it its a bit weird using a urinal when at all other times we use a toilet

Dont sweat the small stuff!

It's because you're thinking about it. The best way to deal with it is to stand at the urinal... count the number of tiles up to the roof, then the number of tiles across and then multiply them to determine how many tiles above the urinal... By the time you have your answer you'll have finished your other business too.

No,it's not weird...there are quite a lot of men who have the same feelings. Most men feel self-conscious to some degree whilst standing at a urinal.

my fiance is exactly the same. he will not use a public toilet unless he has to and even at that he only goes into the cubicle. think its all in the mind and worrying incase other men see him and laugh or something.

Look , when you've gotta go , you've gotta go and if the only way is to go into a cubicle , so be it ! just do it , don't worry about what others think also i think many men suffer from this

It's not silly when your bladder feels like it's going to explode!
It's called bashfull bladder syndrome. Use the cubicle and don't worry what people think.

I've been in situations where guys like to peek at what you're doing.. so sometimes I dont use the urinal when there're people too close to it.
