i think it had something to do with that old nursery-type rhyme or whatever. there are different versions, but the one i heard about was the sailor boy one or also with 'ten little indians'
something about each thing and then one by one each thing dies or leaves and you're left with one less. "And then there were none." is what happens at the end of the rhyme. i know this doesnt help much its just me rambling so good luck.
i belive it was an agatha christie book or poem. theres a computer game called And Then There Were None as well. its not so great.
