You know, I've seen all those movies and none of them managed to give me the slightest chill. Blood, gore, it's all fake. Ghosts, zombies, impossible fantasies. Devils and Jesus, I'm an atheist. I prefer life over death, prefer thinking and acting over being afraid and dying. I just no longer see the appeal?

I agree with 2 on your list ...."Re-Animator" & "Candyman" , "It's Alive" was creepy but not so much "shock horror" for me . If I say "Candyman " one more time I'm dead , so I'll go .
