I don't assume anything. People comes in all colors and all flavors. I would guess that sometimes it is comforting to assume something about someone than to accept the unsettling truth that you don't know where to stand about someone until after you talk to them. Prejudging is human nature, it keeps us safe. It just sucks when you are the recipient of a bad prejudgment.

I don't know why people assume anything on here.
I wouldn't make an assumption from an avatar.
I often make assumptions based on the answers given however.
I think a bigger problem is having assumptions made based on the questions you ask.
I rarely ask questions about my own experiences but everyone answers as though I do.
