It's sort of a long story that I wish not to talk about but I was bit by a person REALLY REALLY badly. This act was not willing on my end. It was on the back of my neck and it's been about 24hrs now. I can turn my head every way but it's painful. Ever since this happened I have been having chest pain right below my heart when I laugh or cough. The bite didn't break the skin so it's not infected. But could the pain in my chest be realated to something else or could it be from the bite. I have no health insurance and REALLY don't want to go the ER unless it is a LAST resort. I HATE hospitals!!!!! The thought of a DR cutting on the back of my neck seems VERY painful!!!!! Again it's a long story but I don't want them asking me a bunch a questions about who bit me and what happened. They would never find the guy. So the main question is: Is the pain in my chest related to the bite? And I should probubly go to the Dr huh?

There were no drugs or anything...on my end atleast....and I got the Dr cutting my neck from the internet...they said if there was nerve damage then the Dr would have to remove the dead skin.

I can only imagine your fear about the bite. Here's the scoop. Unless the person had a comunicable disease which caused your body to become infected, say, RABIES..which is the only thing I can think of, I don't think the two are related.
I know how much you hate hospitals, no one likes to sit in a city hospital reciting to too many people that they do not have insurance. (by the way, whoever wrote the first quote, shame on you, there are lots of indigent people in this country who can apply for some aid, like medicare. It's also fairly cheap to carry an individual policy by looking online, if you can afford 100-150 a month. I think it's well worth it.
A city hospital would take a look at you, and since you are indigent(uninsured) they would probably be able to hook you up to some sort of city or state program which pays your bills depending on your income.
Getting back to the bite , I believe your chest pains could do more with the stress or panic of having something like this happen. Are you feeling any sort of other panic or distress syptoms, such as insomnia, sweaty palms, heart racing, (chest pain is the next syptom). You could be having a panic attack from the stress of the inccident.
Regardless, I think you should take yourself to a doctor who can look at the bite and let you know if it could be infected....how deep is it? you need to go to the hospital, bc at worst case scenario they could have given you some sort of rare blood infection that can get into the heart...but again this is very rare.
My bet is on the Panic Attack.

well if we don't have the details we can't answer it...but you're a big girl and you know what you should be doing...i take it it was for pleasure and didn't end up that way...but when you say "they'll never find the guy"...that worries me...why would a MD want to know where he is?..he's not a police officer...he or she doesnt care they are just there to treat you..but if this was illegal you have to tell the police..i mean would you want him to keep on doing it to others?..and maybe next time it gets worse....maybe you need to talk to one of his family members if he's a bit of a freak!! however if it was mutual consent then like i said you're a big girl...you don't have to answer the MD...just don't be a b#@$@ about it...tell him/her in a nice way that you were doing something that was fun at first but then got a little carried away...i think they're smart enough to catch on and it's not like you're the 1st person they ever saw..I'm sure they heard and seen it all..so get your butt to the MD....and what's this about cutting on your back..who the heck would be doing that?!..they will most likely take an x-ray 1st to see if everything is all right...then maybe an MRI to see if it's muscular problems....maybe blood work and some meds..and that's about it...be a big girl not some baby and go!...you could have pulled a muscle...pinched a nerve...having a panic attack or just stressed out....have you been doing a lot of exercise lately or picked up anything heavy that could have pulled something in your chest?...coughing a lot can do it too...too much to guess on...oh and your life is worth more than some stupid bill,,..they can work on you with that...or if you're not on Medicaid try to get it...and if not on that and you don't have much $$$..an urgent care or ER in a hospital will get you FREE CARE....you only have to pay for a tiny amount and that could be on a payment plan...better to be safe then sorry...good luck

A human bite is more dangerous than an animla bite. Put peroxide on it to clean it out. Cover with a bandage and RUN to the hospital!
Seriously...seek medical attention as SOON as you can...like right now is too late...so hurry...

I guess there could be nerve damage, or a pinched nerve in your neck because of the bite.
Dr's have seen and heard it all. Whether it was kinky sex, a random attack, a bad trip, or physical abuse, don't be afraid of seeing the doctor. No one would cut the back of your neck anyway - not sure where you got that idea.

Sounds to me that if the skin wasn't broken you may be suffering from something else. What kind of drugs were you doing at the time? It might be a symptom of the chemicals rather than the bite....more than likely in fact.

I think that you should go the doctor or to the E.R. Chest pain is nothing that should be taken lightly.
