What is unit vector in physics? Can any one tell me about it. And is there any site where I can type my physics numericals and get solved answer to my question. Write soon.
Thanks..

If someone else solves your ques for u how wil you learn?!!!

Anywayz if you draw a vector in space, in any direction, the distance from origin to end(length) will be one. Numerically it is good to see if |A|=1

e.g i+j+k is not a unit vector but A

Unit vector is A/|A| =( i+j+k )/ root 3

Thats the only tricky thing in it.

Mail me. i may try to suggest something(if basic things involved like this) when I get time but dont expect solutions.

a vector has direction and magnitude...so it can point in any direction and can be a really big in size or really small in size or any size in between.

a unit vector just tells you the size of the vector - how far the object is going in a certain direction.
