Why don't you look in an atlas? Seeing where those features are helps you understand and remember .

The mountain ranges are formed by the collision of 2 different plates and the Himalaya in Asia is an example that would be the collision of 2 continental plates and then there are the islands with mountains like Hawaii that is the collision of 2 ocean plates.

St. Helens is an andesitic volcano on a plate boundary. The plate is subducting and this causes heat and volcanic activity on the surface.

the andes are at a subduction plate boundary.
the himilayas are at the collisional plate boundary between the indian and asian plates.
