If you're married to someone who is suicidal, you should have a problem with it. It's called, get them help if you love them!
I am an adult with ADHD and I struggle with depression. My husband has been through a LOT in the last several years but never told me I needed to get help. This last year I started seeing a therapist, and life has improved a great deal. Why he never suggested I get help is beyond me.
If you are married to someone who is struggling, suggest in a caring way (or make the arrangement for them) that they should see a therapist. If they are not currently on medication, by all means, they should see a psychiatrist about getting a prescription.
If you are the spouse who has add and is suicidal, let me tell you, please get help. Life is MUCH better when you're not going it alone!

You may have alot of challenges, but it becomes your responsibility to care for that spouse, making sure that your spouse has the proper medication, proper dosage. It's your job to make sure that the doctors perscribe right and to monitor your spouse's behavior for danger signs so that you can head off potential disaster. You're there to care for that spouse - don't know if you said for better or for worse - but sometimes, it can seem much worse. But, in time - with your love, patience and care - things will improve and you'll find a relationship better than you ever imagined - but it will take sacrifice, patience and alot of hard work on your part. If you're not up for it - you may not have been up for what marriage can entail when you signed up. It's not always going to be good times and great sex. There's so much more to really loving a person that that and when you make it through this - you'll find out what I'm saying is true.

Having ADD does not make someone suicidal. If I was married to someone who had ADD I wouldn't worry about it. If I was married to someone suicidal I would (and did) have them committed to the psych ward.

If you are married it is a problem for both partners.
If suicidal its your job to get the partner the help they need.

yes I would have a problem ,I would want her/him to get help and medication if needed ,being Suicidal is never good ,even if they never act on it ,it is a sign of being unwell and needing help.

I was married to a bi-polar husband with D.D during which he disassociated himself with everyone. It's impossible to live with.
I tried it. 17 years of pure HELL.
Good luck.
