Haunted houses no longer scare me,mainly because I work at one. All sorts of people react in different ways because people are scared by different things. Which therein lies how a Haunt can be so scary, there is a large variety of things to be scared of, tricks of lighting, different types of monsters, actors, animatronics, if you are willing to suspend your disbelief, a haunt can be a very pleasurable experience. (And arousing for some in a few cases.) It all depends on the person, and wether or not they are willing to admit it. Believe me, we as the ghouls know better. The look on your face tells us everything we need to know. And denial is easy to see.

NO they do not scare me. I have had so many experiences with houses and spirits. One in an old house in Ohio. This house had a back stairway called a servant hallway that led to the kitchen. I had 3 small daughters and made them go to bed at 8 pm. All of my clocks stopped at 7:58. ALL of them, digital, battery, etc... If I became angry with the girls, this spirit would start banging my dishes around! Then, some things started happening with the girls. Once they were in the bathtub. they kept messing around and I was trying to change a diaper (girls were 5, 3 & 2) and the ceiling tile above the bathtub fell out on top of them. I suppose the spirit thought punishing was part of their job!
