The cliche is, "Write about what you know." Does the story have to be fiction? If it does, think about the type of stories you enjoy reading and write one in that same category. Think about a plot that you can create, develop and resolve in three-four pages.
If you are allowed to do non-fiction, write about an incident in your own life.
You have to figure out the topic/theme on your own. Use your imagination. The assignment is yours. Nobody else can do it for you.

I’m definite you'll be able to determine your possess tale, and if now not, why write. I hate being imply, however truthfully all you're going to acquire via penning this dreaded query is both the sarcastic tale recommendations, which amuse different writers, or utter hate and the overused announcement of ‘do it your self’. Everybody has an creativeness. Though it's actual that generally we do not need whatever to put in writing approximately, however in case you love writing, an inspiration or a spark will look within the strangest of methods, whether or not you notice a work of garbage at the flooring, or are climbing on Everest. Don't depend on others, you can be in a position to create a well tale out of it, but it surely’s now not yours and odds are you will not consider that identical feel of achievement that discovering the inspiration your self can carry.

First of all if your just sitting at home then you'll probably be less likely to get any inspiration. When I need some I usually hang out with friends, take a walk, or just go through the day doing as much as I can. Write anything that you might want to put in it down like in a notebook or something, make characters (if necessary) and listening to music helps create a story too. Lots of luck.

A giant black hole is about to swallow up the Earth and there are only two people who can prevent it. This is super lame, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.
