If you are a registered sex offender, you may wind up in jail if you open your door to trick or treaters or decorate your house or even leave the lights on. Parole and probation officers will be in neighborhoods with registered sex offenders. That won't stop the myspace folks from celebrating Halloween in their own chat rooms and the like....
This is the first year that Halloween is being celebrated like Thanksgiving or Hanukkah. I think Halloween needs to become a national holiday - replacing Christmas - and honor Satan for all the wrath he has inflicted on the world since the beginning of time - back to the first trick or treat victims in Adam and Eve.

Yep, make sure to avoid apples and suspicious wrappings of candies. People are messed in the head like that. If you live in the ghetto...certainly put your trick or treat bag through a metal detector, it will help.
