Yes, Many shades,.. many blends of color into the Green eyes some for some of the greens,.. but solid green exsist.

I have spoke to people before that didn't believe in anything but some certain colors. They had a fit for me saying their are Purple/Violet eyes,.. they said it was imposible. I told one Elizabeth Taylor has Purple/Violet eyes when they asked for an example, they said she must wear contacts, I said she was born with Purple/Violet eyes, has always had them in movies, photos and in person... AND THAT WAS WAY BEFORE CONTACT LENSES exsisted,.. they thought I was a Liar.

Pink and Red are also Eye colors (even in Humans) but the least likely for people to believe. People have almost white eyes but there is something wrong with them >.<

Grey, Blue, Dark Blue, Indigo, Yellow, Gold, Violet, grey/gray, ... all exsist. Blue, silver, light blue, light green, emerald,... bah,.. it's a long list. That's why there are so many contact Lenses in the world XD Everyone wants an eye color they've seen for their own eyes some times.

And I was just assumeing you were talking about Humans >.>
(Plenty of creatures on the planet with eyes).

Humans usually have 2 colors in their eyes, they can have 3, 4, or 5 (or more). Some humans are born with EACH EYE A DIFFERENT COLOR. Some people have abnormally shaped eyes and abnormally shaped pupils (I think that is called a stigmatizim).

Animals eyes get more complicated since there are so many animals on the planet XD

Yes, the main color for eyes is brown or blue, but there is such a thing as green eyes. I have never heard of black eyes before. Usually it's just a very deep brown if looked at in the proper light. I have seen people with hazel, grey, very light sky blue, and even a yellowish color, though the latter is quite rare.

Why would it be strange? Some people even have eyes that change colors, like green to brown, blue to gray, green to blue... etc. It's not strange.

There are several different eye colors. Green, gray, black, hazel and some have gold flecks in them. And there are probably more than this out there!
