For the whole USA it is www.familywatchdog.us.
For certain states and maybe it's more detailed go to: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cid/cac/states.htm.

this is the best site...it has photos, addresses, and directions to where the sex offenders live in your city.
i just found out there are 26 sex offenders in a 3 mile radius of my house...is that scary, or what????? i am so glad my kids are grown, but i've been telling everyone i know with kids to go to this website. best regards....
footnote: uh, smack, you're a real sicko...this is a real danger to the children of our communities, not a joke you perv.

If I'm not mistaken, every state police department in the country is required to maintain a sex offender registry...and you can typically look people up by name and/or location.
Family watchdog's website is wonderful too.

dont judge some i mean SOME people just because they are sex offenders. i had a cousin that was locked up for being with a 17 year old girl, which i believed was over 25 years old and he got locked up for it, yeah he s a cool cousin and didnt deserve what he got. looks can be deceiving and make you do stuff. know what i mean.
