1. About a 9
2. Year or two
3. As I think I have said before, I would recommend a board with the Intel P965 chipset, it is better than the one you have picked out, also by then the GeForce 8 series cards will be out, so get one of those.
4. Around $1500

1. 9.5/10
2. Roughly 4 years.
3. Go with 2 GB of RAM. You'll probably need to upgrade the graphics card in 1 to 2 years if you want to play the newer games that are coming out.
4. Not sure

Seems good to me.

(1) Probably like 9/10, the Core 2 Duo's are awesome.

(2) Very soon, due to DirectX10. I suggest waiting for the GeForce 8xxx series.

(3) I'd wait and get a DirectX10 video card when it comes out.

(4) Sorry, I don't really have much time.

i wouldnt pay more than 12-1300 for it myself with a monitor coz i can build one for about that or alittle less .. but the going price i would guess at about 2000 or so depending on what software it has with it and little extra bells and whistles, maybe alittle more or alittle less but definitely dont go over 2grand imo... it looks pretty solid and you can add a second videocard to keep the graphics good enough for another year or two .... you can add another gig of ram later ... does it have raid capability? it would be nice to add a couple of fast harddrives in raid
