What do you think about the new regulate in hockey game. When the teams finish in the same point they have 5 min. in prologation and if nobody mark a point each equip have a chance to compt something in the camp adverse. Tonight it was The Canadian vs Mapple leave of Toronto, the game finish 4/4 they do 5 min. in overtime but they don't mark a point after they have to determinate who gonna win by 3 by 3 each equipes and the first one who shoot in the goal in the 3 the team gonna win tonight it was Toronto, who made it.P.S SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH BUT I USE THIS METHOD TO PRACTICE IT.

When the NHL changed the rule, I thought "This is stupid. It's like deciding a basketball game with a free throw shooting contest." Then I watched a few of them, and you know what? It works and it's fun to watch. And now that here in Pittsburgh we can have Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin for our shootouts, I just wish they had been doing these back when Lemieux, Jagr, Francis, and Stevens were here. Actually, I don't have a problem with ties, but the fans really like the shootouts, and so do the players, so that makes it a good thing. By the way, this is a great way to practice English, keep at it, you're doing fine.

That's part of the problem tho, there wasn't any retaliation from the Bruins. Cooke knew he could get away with it b/c Thornton was on the bench and Chara has a broken finger and Lucic has a freshly broken nose, the one guy in the corner who was next to Cooke was Ryder and he might get a suspension fr a hit the other day, he's on watch... The Bruins didn't retaliate for any of the chippyness before the Cooke cheep shot... No one will cheep shot Crosby or Malkin b/c the refs protect them, that's why everyone mocks them by calling them crybabies or Cindy... Cooke won't fight anyway... he's a cheep shot guy, the league should kick him out. He gets in one or two a year... he waits fr the refs to throw him out... what trash.

Well, one team in the 70's had like 30 ties or something, which is a lot.

you can "play" for a tie, which many teams seemed to have done and they wanted to eliminate that.

I am still undecided about shootouts.
