I'm going to aqssume you don't have access to an oxy-acetylene cutting torch: this is the best way. A regular propane torch doesn't get hot enough to do much good.

Without a cutting torch a cold chisel is the next best thing.

WEAR SAFTEY GLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLD THE CHISEL IN A PAIR OF VISE GRIP PLIERS TO KEEP OUR KNUCKLE S INTACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Chisel the nut counterclockwise to loosen it. Make a notch in it and pound on the notch. Eventually the nut will either spin off, or you can split it so it will.

Once the nut is gone, the bearing should come apart also. The individual rollers are probably already gone, or if not they can be "knocked in" to the center of the hub. You will be left with the inner and outer race with no bearings in the middle. At this point the hub should pull off.

You will still have the inner bearing race "welded" to the spindle.

Once again the cold chisel will either pound the race off the spindle, or crack it in half so it can be removed.

You might have to sharpen the chisel a couple of times, because the race is about as hard as the chisel!

Once it is all apart, get a thread file to restore the threads on the spindle. Use a flat file to clean up the spindle where the bearing seats.

Re-assemble, and pack your bearings more often next time!!!!

It's hard to say...the ball bearings in these American cars suck...my friend has a Cavalier and has had bearings go bad in two different front wheels. The first time he drove around in it like that for a month or two, lol, then it got real bad (loud). So it can last a while but it depends on how bad it is, the position, everything. Let it go too long and you will really **** it up so just be careful, drive it slow, and you should def last til Thursday. Just make sure you get it taken care of then and don't delay it further.

if u can get the rotor off the spindle and its stuck on the rotor ?
you may need a spindle as well .
OK its off lets say . the race should come out knocking it from the opposite side through the middle using a long chisel ,Along with the bearing and the nut .
I am assuming you can take rotor off by spinning it untill the nut backs off spindle .

Use torch, high heat, knock them apart--hope no further damage -if not replace the bearing-if so replace both.
