Possible: If your Ford Bronco was sitting for a while, maybe even running but for only short distances and then sitting for longer than a couple of months at a time, again and again, old gas could be a problem along with water condensing into that old gas from the air that's trapped inside the tank. If the tank was left empty for a long time or even from doing lots of dusty or dirty driving (like you had said, there was a lot of stuff in the gas filter) (and most Bronco's do drive off road) not only should the filter be changed, but the lines should be disconnected and blown out until they are all clear.

Particulates from rusting on the lining or bottom of the tank may be causing clogging not only in the fuel lines and the filter, but also the fuel pump and carburation / injection systems; the whole system is affected.

Fix: Again change the filters with NEW ones; check along the lines from the tank to the front; there may be one filter at the tank and yet another one near to the area along the frame under the driver's side at the front floor board, BUT blow all the lines clear before putting the lines and filters back together. If you suspect stuff in the gas tank, suck the fuel out of it, flush it out with water or even take the tank out and clear it out and let it dry out with the help of compressed air or even the 'blow' side of a shop vac. If the fuel delivery is dirty from the tank then the whole system IS dirty, so clean out the fuel pump; check to see that it pumps clear and clean, rebuild the carburetor / injection system. Hunt the culprit down and kill it before it gets worse.

Last: If you're dealing with a mechanical diaphragm type fuel pump, the lack of fuel may also be due to small cracks in the diaphragm; it maybe pumping just enough to idle the engine but not a full enough volume to run you down the road. Your hose connections should be tight, but if the hoses are cracked or falling apart on the insides, all that stuff only adds to your problems when you tighten down old hoses, filling the lines with crushed, old rubber. Change out the hoses and make those clamps tight enough to keep from suctioning air into the system.

If you're dealing with an 'in the tank' electric pump, it's got to come out. There's a small screen at the suction side of the pump that needs to be changed out.

Robert sends best regards.

Hi, I think you need a good tune-up and have the water removed in your gas tank .I`ll bet you have a lot of moisture collected in tank over years.I hop you change oil on that baby. YOU have neglected that auto really bad just by what you have replaced on the poor thing.
I spend a few bucks on some maintenance. Good Luck ROSCO
