shorter or taller has no effect on smartness, unless you are refering to the height due to age, as in the case of adults or children, and then a SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE TALLER ADULTS WOULD BE SMARTER THAN THE CHILDREN DUE TO MORE LIFE EXPERIENCE AND MORE TIME TO LEARN, BUT THERE WOULD ALSO BE SOME SHORTER(KIDS) WHO ARE SMARTER THAN THE ADULTS..........................sorry for caps didnt realize it til i was done typing that...lol

I don't know if there has been research done on this. It would be interesting to know what the results are. The problem is, how do you measure smartness? My opinion is that taller people would be better academically because it has been proven that taller people are given notice over shorter people simply because of their height and so they may be given more opportunities. Short people tend to shine with their personality more to make sure they are noticed.

Every is born with the same intelligence (assuming there are no genetic problems). HEIGHT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. But people become smarter/dumber based on how they live their lives.

According to studies, taller people average higher IQ's and average larger incomes than shoter people.
