If you do it just before going to bed, it won't really matter. When you get up tomorrow, the time will be correct. That is why most "experts" suggest changing them on Saturday night, just before going to bed. Also, if you have any smoke detectors that use batteries, change those too. If you change the batteries (with new fresh ones, not old used ones) each time you do the time change, then your smoke detectors will have good safe, fresh batteries in them.

Hmm... you asked this question on Sunday (10/29/06) but wanted to know if you should set your clock back "tonight - 10/28/06".... I think you've got more problems than just not knowing what day to reset your clock.
I'm sorry, I kid.... but this question has nothing to do with Space & Astronomy... second one I've seen in this section - I'm starting to wonder about people's ability to choose the correct catagory for their questions...

Please tell me this might nicely be a comedian tale, and you at the instant are not probably that ignorant! daylight hours mark downs time is only a convenience to commerce. that's a measurement, a counting device, not having the slightest consequence on the honestly worldwide temperature. Oh wait, enable me think of roughly this. possibly it does. As you be attentive to, as quickly as the solar is going down, the air and the exterior of the floor start to take a seat back off. So while the evening rush hour happens after sundown, probably it supplies you much less greater warmth, considering's being cooled via the cooler air. possibly if incredibly of daylight hours mark downs time, we had darkness mark downs time . . . yet then the morning rush hour is likewise moved forward . . . your question is giving me a headache.

You were not completely wrong, Babycat. In Australia, in the states of New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, clocks were indeed set ahead one hour today, Sunday the 29th. In the Northern hemisphere we turned them back, but in the Southern, they go ahead!
