The 2 places you named are very nice places..... they romance with you :-) Himachal is the nicest place..as it is located in Himalayas... Dharamshala is in himachal, so does Kullu-Manali, Simla, Lahaul-spiti, Chamba, Dalhousie & many more....
Suggestion to see himachal--
Look for the places which are very close to these famous hill stations, but untouched like near dharamshala there's a small temple called-"Ganjhar Mahadev" which dates back to B.C. & is situated in a beautiful locale of a forest & a water stream.

Well go for Himalayas.
One can go for the cities like Mussoorie, Shimla, Nainital, Darjeeling etc but the real Himalayas looks like heaven. Places like Gulmarg (Kashmir), Manali (Himachal Pradesh), Almora (Uttaranchal).
And the metropolitans like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Bangalore-Hyderabad.
I think top 3 metropolises are Delhi; Bangalore & Hyderabad because they are more clean than Mumbai, Kolkata & Chennai. Well frozen your knowledge about India is 0. Come to India and you will find good places more than your thinking.
I think your knowledge is 0 about everything.
You see only Indian wildlife centuries in India and may be on television that’s why you are kind person who can easily believe in television stories.

And Chennai is not a state Chennai is a city in the state of Tamilnadu.

I think you have not been or heard about Uttaranchal. If you are nature lover you must visit Uttaranchal. Here is everything except Sea although the beaches on the banks of River Ganga fulfill the need of Sea. Its full of virgin beauty. If you are little adventurous it will offer you Rafting, Camping, Trekking, Rappelling, Jungle Safari n more others activities also.

Trick question. There are no nice places. Typhoons, monsoons, cobras, tigers, angry hippos, charging rhinos, stampeding elephants, terrorist muslims from Pakistan, etc. When I think of India, nice is the last thing that comes to mind.
