Almost all of the socalled spiritual people are after only these 3 things :
1. Your money (Their major and the most ulterior motive)
2. Their own comfort, well being and fame, domination of
innocent or gullible people
3. Sex which will not become public or at least will not hurt their
reputation

And they will go to any extent playing tricks with you to achieve that including very lowly tricks too.

How many of you think this is true and agree with this ?
Do you know of one or more instances where such deceivers were playing such base games ? Why do they do this ?

Seeing Cheyan's answer "u r wrong" really made my faith in the God stronger.

It is exactly enforcing the content of the question. Such dogmas and dogmatic beliefs are the target of this question.
Simply by denying the existence of evil does not make evil to disappear from the world.

How Cheyan can't even accept that such things like fake spriritual people do exist.
Is he one of those fake swindler types ?
Or is he so naive and ignorant himself that de does not know about such swindlers ?

Good Cheyan keep up your denial of the truth. That really adds to my energy to fight against lies, hypocricies and swindling.

Thanks Cheyan

Life is a game. There are those who know how to play it and those who don't. Playing ( and it's all an act ) the Spiritual Leader is a Power Play to get their hands on a Cash Cow that they can milk forever. The naive, sad and lonely, the disappointed and don't forget the sick are all desperate and easy prey. Ideal profession for wannabe politicians. The real masters at the Game where Hilter, Stalin, Mao Ze Tung, N Koreas Kim, Dr. Moon and Saddam Insane. All megalomaniacs. Just watch them gloating at themselves on TV whilst persuading you to pass your plastic to buy God salvation..They flatter you to get your money. They say what you want to hear. Flattery is like perfume, you can smell it, but never swallow it.

Spirituality is a personal concern of an individual, and therefore in true sense it could almost remain un-noticed by even the near and dear.
But when people declare to be spiritual, it is very essential that others do not 'blindly believe' and fall a prey to such pretenses.
It is better to clearly understand what is spirituality before embarking to even evaluate spiritual persons, and become victimised.

I think some so-called "spiritual" people are as you say because in working for some churches, the spiritual leader gets free housing and dips into the donations for what he wants or needs. He only has to preach a couple of hours each week for a living. People trust him because he supposedly represents God. All of these circumstances are perfect for lazy people who want to take advantage of others. I'm NOT saying all religious leaders are like that - there are some wonderful spiritual leaders in the world. I'm just saying that the WAY they live their lives would appeal to some who wants to take advantage of the same.

You're being very judgemental as well as naive. It looks to me as if your judgement is based on reports of scandals involving religious leaders. They aren't the only religious leaders, and leaders aren't the only spiritual people.

All people are vulnerable to sin. Most of the people I consider spiritual know this and are engaged in a pretty effective campaign against sin in their own lives.

Your answer is "human fallibility". It does not merely affect "spiritual" people, but all "people" PERIOD. Politicians, corporate leaders (ENRON), philosophical gurus, aristocrats, teachers, celebrities, corrupt police, Catholic priests, scout masters, motivational speakers, prosperity gurus, real estate agents, you name it. The "labels" are entirely irrelevant. The truth is they are all fallible people, a genetic flaw uniquely intrinsic to human nature, vulnerable to the seductive and manipulative temptations generated by their overwhelming acquired power, authority, success, greed, fame, fortune, notoriety and accomplishments, used to sway their bewildered followers to gain even more. They become Godless devouring monsters gripped by an insatiable materialistic and superficial hunger that is never quenched, nor satisfied.

Not only spiritual people are fake and selfish. Hypocrisy is found in all groups of people, just like ignorance. For example, you tried to sound like you are actually intelligent in your question. But by the way you write, it is obvious to most people that you are in fact ignorant. So you are like a fake smart person- get it? Stop being a hypocrite.

Most people who wear their spirituality on their "sleeve" so to speak (advertise it) are only doing so for other reasons. They may not even realize it. People who are truly spiritual do not need to preach it or advertise it to others. They practice their beliefs by the way that they live their lives every day.

Smartie,
You could not have said it any better. I am in complete agreement with you. Spiritual people are by definition parasites. The jews were the forerunners of this type of occupation. The lazy greeks copied them after christ came along. Muslims joined the bandwagon. In one word it is all summarized - 'money'.
