Is the bleeding like the normal bleeding you would get from your period? If yes, then that's fine. It actually sounds like a kidney infection and I know that I've bled before when I've had a kidney infection. Don't worry though .. they're quite common (although you should get it treated asap). I'm assuming you're on anti-biotics? If you were put on anti-biotics a week ago, then it should be gone by now. You may have to go back to the doctor and get a stronger anti-biotic. Hope it all sorts itself out soon.

Well lady-- sounds like you have a highly fulminating kidney infection. Symptoms associated with a UTI i.e. frequency of unirnation, stinging PAIN when you go even maybe just a dribble, but you feel URGENT to go. This is usually treated with a sulfa based antibiotic that works (at least symprom wise) with in a few days. If a UTI is not resolved, taken care of and have you feeling much better, after a few days. CERTAINLY take the full course of therapy- now however due to the long time frame to elimination of your problem might be indicating progression into kidney involvement i.e. nephritis.
Since the kidneys are similar to a cleansing and extraction plant for your bodily fluids. etc as well and any medication, other illnesses or bacteria (what causes a UTI) that is not wiped out by the antibiotics that your physician prescribed I would be very concerned for you and I am sure your parents will be as well...

Since the kidneys are a major filtering systerm for your entire being then an infection is associated with many of the symptoms that you described i.e. back pain, nausea, fever, lethargy- not feeling like getting up and going out as well as your discolored urine output.

You NEED a full panel of renal lab tests now- regardless of the time zone....now they will do tests on your urine to detect protein (which should not be present in significant volumes) culture your unine to see what bacteria grows and then what antibiotics your bacteria will best respond to. You did not mention wether or not you have an odor not ususally associated with your urine odor. This is another sign of kidney inflammation/infection.

The period issues should be addressed seperately and unless you are using more than one tampon or pad per 25-30 min without stopping address the kidney infection tonight= a good exam will also look into your menstrual issue.. be well.. please act

for your long term health be open about any sexual contact even if it did "go all the way". Be well- now go get you parents up

Ok, sweetie, I really don't want to scare you, but if what I think is happening to you it's serious. It sounds to me like you have kidney infection. A UTI can morph into a kidney infection very quickly.

A little bit of personal experience for you: I had just had my daughter and was actually still in the hospital with her. They had discharged me when I started getting some major chills. They had me go ahead and lay back down and cover up. I had them turn the heat up and I was still cold. They ended up taking my daughter back to the nursery because they didn't know if what I had was contagious yet. There's 10 hours that I don't remember after that. I had a very high fever and I went into shock from it. I was finally discharged from the hospital, but still felt like crap for about a week after. When I went to my 6 week check up the doctor told me that I had broken the record for the highest fever on the maternity floor ever. It had gotten up to over 107 degrees. So, please don't put this off. You need to go to the ER now even if this isn't what's happening to you.

Well you're still posting updates, so I'll say it again for you. GET TO A DOCTOR!!!

I was at college when I woke up feeling like crap and ended up in the ER after I let a UTI turn into me urinating blood. It isn't fun, it sucks, going to the ER is not something anyone really wants to do, but honey you need to get this checked. If you're asking strangers on the internet for help, you really need to get some from actual professionals. We can tell you 1000 different things but it won't be the same as a doctor checking you out. It's better to just go and get checked out and be sent home than for you to be feeling so awful and worrying at home possibly getting worse.

Please go wake your parents and have them take care of you, that's what they're there for.

If you're sexually active, you should go to the doctor immediately. You could be having a miscarriage.

If your period is heavier than normal, and that is why you're passing the blood clots, then you might want to wait. Sometimes we just bleed more than others.

However, if the pain is beyond what you can handle, and you're soaking more than 1 pad in an hour, you need to get to the ER A.S.A.P.

And if seeing a doctor will make you feel better, go there anyway. No one will think less of you because you're cautious. And try to tune out what your parents are saying. The love you, and are worried about you, and they don't realize that by verbalizing their concern they're driving you nuts.

I hope everything works out okay.

Honey, you need to go to the doctor. Don't panic, I'm sure it is something they can take care of. No one is going to be able to diagnose you on line, you need medical attention. Have your parents take you to the doctor.

It sounds like your infection hasn't cleared up. It may have gone into your kidneys and that's why you feel so bad. With the right medication and rest I'm sure you will be feeling better in no time.

Try drinking some Cranberry juice, it is good for you. Drink lots of water also.

Good luck and all the best.

Sounds like you got 2 problems. Unusual discharge and possible UTI. I would go to the doctor ASAP. A doctor visit is way cheaper than landing in the hospital.

Tell your parents NOW please! You and your parents should know whether you need to go to the ER. Don't ask others on the computer about something that could be potentially dangerous for you when we don't have all the details. You know your symptoms and how you feel. If in doubt then GO!

You MUST have anti biotics and you MUST drink lots of water to flush out your urinary tract, which is infected. That's the only cure. Forget the fizzy drinks, they aggravate the bladder lining.
