Tory Holt. As quiet as Harrison so he gets little attention. He is amazingly consistant and he always has his team in the playoffs. Smith is great but not quiet as good.

If you are a coach and looking for consistency it has to be Marvin Harrison. Pay no attention to the loudmouths who wish to turn the WR position into a WWE event. BTW, Chad Johnson has only 1 TD this year. Owens caught 2 last week, but he's really the 2nd best receiver on the Cowboys (behind Glenn). Marvin Harrison is quiet (because others can do his talking for him.. the true sign of a good player) and he has the best QB in the NFL throwing him balls. Their combination has produced more TD's than Montana/Rice, Young/Rice, and every other duo.

Depends upon how you define "best". If you mean the one with the best stats in total yards receiving, it is Andre Johnson with 47 receptions for a total of 591 yards, but Houston isn't doing that well even with those stats. If you want the one with the best average, Antonio Bryant with the Niners has an average of 19.8 yards per reception. Greg Jennings of Green Bay has the longest reception of 75 yards. So does having those great numbers help those teams?
Better to have a double threat of Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne and have a wiinning team like Indianapolis. Don't you think?

Anquain Boldin, most people overlook him because he went from a hasbeen QB to a rookie Qb, but he still puts up great numbers, and he is built like a TE with a WR's hands and speed. Put him in Cincy or Carolina where Smith and Johnson are and you wouldnt even need to ask this question

Randy Moss. He has the most talent of any receiver in the league. With his natural ability and body and Steve Smiths passion, he could the best ever. But since he doesn't, long live Jerry Rice!

No one wants to hear this and i dont want to admit it but if TO shuts up and has a quaterback he is the best look at his stats with donavon there first year....but he never shuts up or gets his head out of his *** so probably steve smith cause he makes the biggest difference for his team 3-0 with him 0-3 with out him

If you go by the numbers it's Roy Williams. I don't, I go on talent. Steve Smith is the best. Elusive, explosive and reliable. 89 is the real deal.

Marvin Harrison gets my vote. Great route runner, great hands, not afraid to take a hit over the middle, hard worker and business like are just a few of the reasons I like him.

If you count just raw pure talent, it's Randy Moss because of his height and blazing speed.
If you count talent with effort and skill, Steve Smith...he doesn't have height (only 5'9) but has super speed and great hands.
