yea and in a full conciious way like u know thinking , and not fallin asleep on my own?
because im a song writter and i need to finish a cd by next week and i need to do about 15 tracks i got 2 done but need to work ma *** off to finishe em plus i gotta record them so i need to stay awake and think right so i can do this, please help, anything that could help me stay up?

Ok... all advice contained below carries this caviot. Don't stay up for days. It's bad. After the first thirty six hours you run the risk of becoming psycotic untill you've slept for a full six hours. If you remain awake for longer than 264 hours in a single shot you will die. It's leathal.

Having said that avoid large amounts of surgar starting.... NOW! Now you are going too want too bust up your wake periods into twenty hour shots. What you do then is nap standing up for ten minutes. Once you get too the first forty hour herdle you should put your self down for at least 6 hours. (I'll get too the nap standing up bit shortly.) So... assuming that you have 5 days from now till you have too turn in this assignment you will beable too use about 98 hours of that time for work. If you can't get what you need too done inside of one hundred hours give up now.

Next. These standing up naps... They are extreamly useful into tricking your body into thinking that it got some real sleep. You'll need that if you want too get useful work done durring this period of time. What you do is stand up with your arms folded across your chest with your feet about shoulder with appart and just close your eyes for ten minutes. If you fall into real sleep you'll wake up when you hit the floor. Then it's time too go back too work. You give up ten minutes out of every twenty hours too trick your body into moving past the thritysix hour threshold. I've only every been able too keep it going for sixty hours that way before hitting the event horrizon of psychosis.

Next step is too set the eviornment up. Lots and LOTS and lots of strong lighting. Do what ever you can do too lower the ambient temperature in the room too a temperature deemed "this sucks." If you jack up the temperature in the room at any point in he exsersize sleep is going to come wack you on the back of the head hard fast and repeatedly. Sleep can deal quite a savage *** whoopen when you aren't paying enough attention too her. Cold is good... don't over due it and suffer hypertherma. Death and hospitalization will both prevent completion of this project.

So... strong lighting... chilly room.

Diet. Stay the hell away from coffee. If you ABSOLUTELY must have caffine go with black tea and make it weak. You want too be constantly sipping at warm water. This will encourage a lot more potty trips witch are important in that you'll need those breif trips too refocus your mind on what you are doing. Eat a lot of fatty fish like salmon, tuna, macral, and sardines. Something about the oils in them keep you head turning longer. Stay the hell away from charbs. It takes a lot of energy too prossess them and sleep is going too come and head punch you if you go with heavy carbs. Stay away from turkey. It's got a bunch of triptophan in it. That makes you sleepy.

While you are working stand up as much as you possibly can. Sitting down at a desk it becomes very easy too fall asleep accidently expecially when you hit the thirty hour mark.

Again. This is a bad idea... the whole staying awake for a long *** periods of time... but if you are going too do it this is the best way I know how too do it.

If you can stay up that long JUST to finish your CD, I guarantee the the music will suck. Your brain will be trashed after the first whole day and anything coming out of it will be garbage from then on. Get some sleep, then you'll be much more creative.

crapload of coffee, redbull, and adderall. note that you may die. the sad truth is that u cannot stay awake for more than 2 days and function normally, no matter what. the mind simply cannot take it (thats right, i say the mind because we sleep for the health of our brains more than our bodies). try and get help, or jusr really limit your sleep to about 4 hours/day. note that adderall is roughly the chemical equivalent of speed. oh wait, man , i just remembered.... seriously, go smoke some pot, opium, lsd, whatever-- isnt that when most great works were quickly written?

Staying awake past two days will make you crazy and disfunctional. At least sleep 4 hours at a time!

Ummm. . . It's generally not recommended to stay awake more than like, two days. People die after a certain time period without sleep.

Buttt. . . You could just take mass amounts of Adderol.

Have lots and lots of caffeine like coffee and soda. I don't recommend staying up the whole time though take frequent naps just so you will do a little better when making the C.D. Good luck on your C.D.!

you can try to stay awake but after about 48 hours, anything you write will seem really profound and amazing to you but sound like complete crap to everyone else. your best bet is to reschedule the studio time.

in future, you might want to write the songs before scheduling recording time.

there is a theroy written by benjamen franklin. its called 'a cats nap' the theory is, cats never sleep. they take small nap from time to time. he did so and it was very succesful for him. you sleep for about twety minutes every couple hoursi wouldn't sugest you take enrgy pills or drink or stuff like that, they give you an immediate bosst, but they cause you to crash later. but goosd luck.

OK, honestly, not suggesting it, but you can stay up for days by taking ADD medication. It is used to calm people with attention deficit disorder, but it reverses the effect with someone who doesn't have ADD...keeps you up for days. dont advise it, but it'll keep you up and alert for a while...
