Yeah, I've wondered that for a long time, but figured that it was a stupid question to ask, but...right now,I don't care if it's stupid or not, I'll ask anyhow.

Emo stands for emotional but most people interpret it as someone who wears skinny jeans and band shirts, paint their nails black, cut themselves, sulk around and say how much they hate themselves ect. Just a depressed anti-social person.

I don't know, but some girl say that she was going to be an EMO for Halloween and she asked what would be good tips for a costume. I asked her what it meant and have not read to see if she answered. Some people are telling you that it means emotional, so what should I recommend to the other girl? A box of klenex?

A little f-a-g that acts hardcore but is a little wienie ! and cuts his wrist side ways and not up an down (like real ppl who commit sucide) !!! Oh yea and did i add they wear black an pierce there selves for attention & listen to men whinning about how there girlfriends dumped them last week an of course they scream like little fruits in there song! plan is that an if any of you EMO's wanna argue YOU can't because i just told the plan ole' truth bout u idiots!

My friend labels herself "emo". She says it's short for emotional. She also says she's a "scene kid". I'm not much one for labels. But she is overly emotional and over-reacts a lot.
