Late at night? Lots of bass?

Well we don`t do police here. We take care of it on our own.

After 11 PM if you can hear it when your in your house and it is more then normel conversation the call the police . If the police are called enough not only will the loud one get tired of it so will the police and they will start to do more then warnings .

It's 2am and someone's got the bass thumping, I got work in the morning....one ringy dingy, hello I'd like to file a noise complaint.

If the house feels like it is jumping cause of the bass, time to call. Otherwise, I can usually ignore everything unless it sounds distructive or dangerous.

It would either have to be louder than the TV or interrupting my sleep to make me call the police. If my shelves are shaking and stuff is rattling, then it's certainly too loud. Or, it would be violent noises--like people fighting, for me to call the cops.

I live smack dab in the middle of six acres, and all my neighbors own roughly the same amount of property, so the only sounds I hear are critters and after my husband shot the first skunk, we've learned to leave well enough alone and just let them do their own thing.

I would say if it is keeping you awake or preventing you from hearing your own music or tv, then call. I hate that really bass-y, thumping, vibrates the house sh*t!!

It has to threaten my saftey or the saftey of someone else, otherwise I just let them be. Music doesn't bother me no matter how loud they play it, but a gunshot would be a reason to dial 911 and fast!

if it's any kind of metal noise like someone is trying to break in then im already dialing the phone.
