Well, it depends on the person. I have mine on all day, and when I sit down, I have my laptop right in front of me....but other ppl rarely go on, and dont stay on long.

I'm on the internet quite a lot. I'm allowed to bring my laptop to work, because the only REALLY busy times of the day is lunch, and when the kids get out of school.
That's the beauty of working at a medium sized candy store.
The rest of my day is spent on Yahoo, or on my own forum which is similar to Yahoo Answers, only doesn't give stupid violations and remove legitimate questions.

I'm online anything from 10 - 12 hrs (weekends) to 3 or 4 (weekdays).

It depends on ppl free time.Some stay longer doing internet until they are drowsy.
