How do u delete ipod linux from a ipod nano 1g?

I have a ipod nano 1g and i downloaded ipod linux. When i turn on my ipod everytime it is a black screen with blue letters. I tried rebootting it but it went right back to that. I cant go in to disk mode either so it is really hard. I am a begginner in ipod products and i just got my ipod 3 weeks ago. PLEASE HELP ME!!! ANYONE

plug your nano in and go to my computer, then your nano, then you should see the linux folder. delete it. then eject your nano, and reset it by pressing and holding menu and the center button for like 10 seconds. wait for it to reboot, and plug it back in. it should be fine now, if not, press the restore button withing your itunes menu.
