This is not a question for polls and surveys, but I will answer it. Before starting the explanation, a few notes should be mentioned
A) The HIV virus isn’t product of any conspiracy theory, or human lab work
B) It wasn’t transmitted to humans trough zoophiliac practices.
C) Its origin is not related in any way to sexual practices such as homosexuality or such.
Genetically speaking, the HIV virus is the product of years of continuous evolution. HIV is one of the FASTEST evolving viruses in the history of evolution, capable of replicating itself at a rate of 30,000 copies in a very short time. This allows the virus to escape from protease inhibitors easily, modifying its genetic composition yielding to stronger, more resistant virions. Its phylogenetic history has already been reconstructed by Beatrice Hanns and colleagues in 1999, using DNA sequence determination via polymerase chain reaction and other methods, establishing a retrospective interesting history, in order to trace the relationship between the SIV virus (primate) and HIV (human). The HIV virus divides itself in two categories: the HIV-1 virus, and the HIV-2 virus. These viruses are different, both in origin and development history. Among the analyzed HIV-1 subtypes there are the following: l HIV-1/455, HIV-1/LAI, HIV-1ELI, HIV-1/YBF30, HIV-2/ROD,HIV-2/D205, among others, compared with SIV-1 primate viruses: CPZ, CPZ CAM3, CPZ and ANT. DNA analysis of both families determined that BOTH viruses are related, and that because HIV has traces of DNA present in the SIV virus, it has been determined the origin of HIV came from SIV, present in sooties mangabyes and other monkeys via several different ways of transmission paths. So, how did the virus passed from monkeys to humans? In west Africa these monkeys have been consumed as food since ancient times. Because human and primate genetic phylogenies are related, this gave the HIV virus the opportunity to evolve and transform in what is today HIV-1, AND HIV-2. The protein analysis of the virions surface confirmed this suspicion, as it was found similar genetic coding in both virus forms. The HIV virus exists in nature in other animals as well. The FIV or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus affects higher order cats and other felines (cheetahs, lions, lynxes and such); however because these animals have evolved to smooth the virions trait, the effects aren’t as catastrophic as HIV. Regular house cats FIV works in a similar way to HIV, it is transmitted trough bites and wounds, and its not immediately related to higher order cats. This subject matter is very complex and extensive, and unless you are involved in some medical work or upper level classes university, its not easy to comprehend.

AIDS is not a man-made disease. It originated in the sub-Saharan region in Africa. Like many human diseases AIDs is believed to have originated in other primates and "jumped species" to humans. The exact cause is not known. But AIDs is definitely not created by humans. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease, but there are many drugs that can prolong life in those who test HIV positive.

I have read so many theories ,first it was a governement one to keep the population down especially in 3rd world countries where they cant afford the basics in health anyway. Also the theory about monkeys in africa having the disease then slowly passed to people who would eat the monkeys. But i wouldnt put it past the government as well

I think that derives from a sci-fi story about a medical company that makes race-specific diseases, but it goes horribly wrong
