Which period?

Pre-Warring state, (about 500BC and beyond), they were using brozen. Only when King of Chin found iron in their state, they began to use it as weapon. Thus, he managed to win the other 6 major kings and other prince to unit the entire China into one Kingdom.

After that period, Iron is use as tool, weapon, and other industrial usage.
