I read a really good book called "Bonds That Make Us Free". It is about how every person is not real, this world is not real, everything in your head is a long drawn out story that you tell yourself every single day. People's personalities are how you perceive them, not what they are. The world is not what you see it as, it is what it is. The trick is to see everyone as you see yourself, a work in progress, not a defining label. It is a hard thing to achieve, I've gone through therapy battling depression as a result of my negative perceptions of the world, but it is not impossible to see it as a glorious place filled with many wondrous people and things that show the beauty of God's own hand every day, but you have to make the choice to see them.
