Phulkari is a form of embroidery practiced in Punjab. Phulkari/bag dupattas were supposed to adorn the bride and were not for sale. Phul means flowers and kari means patterns made of flower. Phulkari artisans mainly used woollen threads on a coarse cotton cloth. You can refer to the following link for seeing some phulkari stoles/dupattas
