So many complain about them. So many would like to pick and choose which to follow. So can anyone explain the purpose of them and what would be ideal (or close too it.) And should we have them? And should they be followed?
Or any other information you would like to add. I would be interested.
All comments appreciated

Should they be followed? A little more depth to this question?

Sorry M--I would think some could figure it out-how should it be phrased-Man's law or just law. Thought common sense could understand the question, but pick if you like-all comments allowed

I have absolutely no idea what you mean by "human law."
As opposed to what? The law of Klingons, Vulcans, and Romulans?
{edit} Just plain "law" will do.
I reacted negatively because I keep on hearing the expression "human rights" -- as in, "It's a question of human rights," or "I'm going to dedicate my life to fighting for human rights." I just plain do not understand why people use the word "human" in front of "rights" or "law" as if that somehow dramatizes or clarifies what people are talking about.
Sure, some people complain about some laws. Hardly anybody agrees with every law that is on the books. And we'd like to cast our votes (for those of us who do vote) to try and change some of the already existing laws.
Of course we do need laws. The fact that some people whine about which ones are on the books and that they constantly "bash" anybody else who supports the laws which exist is no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater. We can't make everybody happy. We all have to just accept our limitations and our limited knowledge and try to get along with one another in spite of our differences of opinion about law.

Human laws are needed. Too bad so many atrocities are committed against humans in other countries. Laws are needed to defend the rights of humans who do not have the voice to do so. Good question, I like jungles.

Laws were made to put things in order and it is for the benefits of the majority. (Imagine a classroom with 36 tables, 2 chairs, 63 students, 6 teachers teaching different subjects, restroom for both male & female, a closet full of janitorial equipments, etc., etc.,) Knowataymen?

Animals can live without laws without decimating their own kind. Humans on the other hand can be so devious that without laws most of us would fall victm to the evil ones among us.

We need laws because we are not animals living by the law of the jungle.

In short...without laws man would be immoral in ways you couldn't imagine and this wouldn't just apply to the currently sick and insane.
