What you need to do with this stain is use a solvent type product. Since you don't have the professional stuff try using orange glo or even 409. The most important thing to do is rinse the stain with a wet vac to remove all the reside, or the spot may come back.
If you have fingernail polish try acetate. Blot the chemical onto the spot and then remove with a towel and repeat, keep on doing this until stain is gone or you stop getting colour transfer. Then rinse the stain with a wet vac and water to remove all the reside,

You could try baby powder or talcum powder. Pour all over the area and let set overnight. Brush the powder away and vacuum. If any stain remains, repeat. I have used baby powder to get different kinds of oil out of several things. I once got motor oil out of a pair of jeans that had been washed and dried in the dryer before I noticed the stain. If after trying this several times and you find that it doesn't work for your situation, try WD40.

Take a brown shopping bag and rip this into pieces covering the spot. Hence a heated iron will help to soak up the oil

Kitty litter (the normal kind) would be good....you could also try some cornstarch...let either one set overnight and vaccumm up...if there's a spot still left over, try using a few drops of Dawn dishwashing detergent and water....blot up the water and see how it looks when it's dry.
