Hi!
I have a fil-canadian blood

If your curious then I have to share it to you

Life in the Philippines is difficult
Anywhere is not safe to be
there are robbers,pick-pocket people,theif
But only if your alone in the streets especially if ur a girl
Just be sure your not alone
And Philippines is a very hot country
Also Filipinos are best hackers
They are also very religious
Foods are wonderful
But the country's main problem is corruption
Filipinos are also best bussinessmen
Tough, never said no to a challenge
But some Filipinos are kind people, hospitable and caring
For me I only stayed in the Philippines for a short time
But now I lived in Canada in Toronto,Ontario
Life in the Philippines also depends on how you lived there
For me its a fun country
I have many wonderful experiences while I lived there

The country is called Philippines or The Philippines or The Republic of the Philippines. It is used to be known as The Philippine Islands. I know it is sometimes confusing for people who have no prior knowledge of the country or its people. The country is not called Filipinos, it is the people who are called Filipinos. Filipinas is also sometimes used to connote the female population but that will get you more confused because the country in the vernacular is called Pilipinas (with a P). Hope that helps. Send me an email for any other related question.

I have a Fil-Chinese blood. The Philippines is a good country with a lot of intelligent and friendly people. It's just a corrupt minorities which destroy the country. The government is so oppressive and extremely corrupt all of them. Opposition, incumbent, rebels etc. All of them. They only know one thing and that's corruption. It's in their blood and their families accept it. They can not do anything else. So sad.

HI janice, i am a filipino. what do u want to know specifically? i lived in philippines right now....if experiences lots of it...u can email me if u want....but i wanna tell you about a filipino woman culture, they are conservative, should be conservative ( maria clara type) well if you dont know maria clara u can read about it in a book of rizal ( phil. national hero). ...till now lots of old filipinos still looked up the conservatism of filipino women...we dont have abortion here...filipinos are religious too...so hospitable, if they have a guest, they even offered their masters bedroom for the guest, while they sleep in the living room or in the floor. treat the guest as so special...filipinos are so close knit families...lots of us lived with our parents even we are already married with our own family..pareants are still there with them..kids take good care of their parents while parents grow old..theres no home for the aged here.we cant imagine putting our parents in that care home..like super bonding of parents and children...and relatives too, lots of reunions...just like that....filipinos has lots of superstitious beliefs too...so funny but , the old ones will say theres nothing wrong if we believe it as long as it cant harm us...in relationship...we dont have much those one night stand, the guy should court the girl, visit her in their house, bring flowers etc. ask the permission to the father of the girl if he can have a date...just common...b4 marriage, the guy ask the girls hand for marriage, he will go to girls house with all of his family and relatives, bring foods, and parents parents and couple discuss about the wedding, and parents always interfere who are the principal sponsors...in family, usually the father is the breadwinner and the wife takes good care of the kids...its also common for us to have servants in the house,..so the mom can work if she wants...phil. is a 3rd world country but lots of us depended on servants(maids)...phil. is top in corruption too...i dont wanna talk abt negatives , makes me wanna go abroad right now...lol..c yah n take care.
