diet pills are a bunch of hoop la!!! Just eat healthy....diet pills are just vitamins and caffine to make you hyper. ....drinking coffee can do that! Just eat 6 small meals a day, stay away from carbs in the evening and DONT eat after 8pm....drink 8 glasses of water and you dont need to waste your money on GARBAGE diet pills.

If I remember correctly, there was a big controversy over Hoodia (one of the ingredients in NV and tonnes of other diet pills). I think the problem is that there haven't been any decent long-term studies about the effects of Hoodia yet.
Green tea is one of the other ingredients, which IS safe but who knows what else is in NV? It's best not to use diet pills. They can really cause a lot of damage. Not to mention diet pills just flat out don't work - they may contain ingredients that technically 'work', but it's so minimal you won't even notice. It's not worth the risk.

I found this site when I was researching diet pills to try and find one that I felt comfortable taking ,....but no luck finding one that seemed safe.
The weight loss complex is comprised of Green Tea, Hoodia and Theobromine. Green Tea is well known for its many antioxidants. It may work as a diuretic and flush out excess water stored in the body. Hoodia is an extremely popular diet supplement. It is known for its appetite suppressing abilities. Theobromine is a stimulant similar to caffeine. It’s added in weight loss supplement because there are theories it burns fat, but there are no clinical studies to support this claim.
The energy complex of NV consists of Taurine and Ginseng. Taurine is an essential amino acid, and some studies have shown it to lower cholesterol. Also, it may be successful in aiding with conditions like congestive heart failure and cystic fibrosis. It’s unclear why this ingredient was included in the energy complex, as no studies have indicated this molecule to create more energy. Ginseng, on the other hand does have a layman reputation of boosting energy levels, but it’s better known for its medicinal purposes, like treating stomach aches.
The beauty complex includes collagen and Silica. Collagen is a protein which is found in both humans and cows. When contained in supplements it’s extracted from a cow’s connective tissue. There are theories that collagen is good for the skin and may reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Silica can be extracted from horse hair, and is advertised to enhance the appearance of skin, hair and nails.
Ingredients In Focus
The three separate complexes of NV may work together to improve overall appearance. The stand out ingredient is the herb Hoodia, which if successful in controlling eating may encourage weight loss. Ginseng and the other anti-oxidant containing ingredients may augment the immune system; this may provide additional energy. Ginseng is often included in many male sexual enhancement formulas.
NV does contain caffeine, which many nutritionists urge consumers to avoid. It may create unwanted side-effects such as shakiness, nausea and dizziness.
Another included ingredient which raises concern is collagen. This supplement is extract from animal byproducts. Considering the existing fears concerning animal related illness or animal harvested products, it is important consumers are aware of this ingredient.

DON'T take diet pills. They not only mess with your nervous system, but they have severe side effects. Your heart and liver get the majority of the damage and the rest comes from the excess weight GAIN after you stop taking them. NOT worth it.

I've had a fair amount of success with TrimSpa. I think they are pretty much the same. You may have to deal with some constipation, though.
