so pretty much i am a boy slightly over 13 years of age. my "****" have been itching a lot. one pops out and one goes in. i put toothpaste on them cuz usually tootpaste helps things stop itching. now it just itches more. i have just noticed some small little bumps around them. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? AM I A HE-SHE?

not he-she. you would have the other parts before you had breasts. anyway.

first, why is it only girls (besides me) answering this? anyway.

yeah the toothpaste is drying out your skin and making it itch, so you probebly screatch it and that makes it worse. leam em alone for a while and yes, growing hair make them itch too. small bumps are hair folicules, like goosbums looking i would guess.

You're going through puberty. HOWEVER, if you have a testicle that pops in and out, tell your parents and have them take you to the doctor to make sure that everything is normal. At the same time, he can check the itching to make sure you don't have a rash, etc.

The itching could be caused by a number of things, even something like your mom using a different kind of laundry detergent that your sensitive to.

I'd really advise you to STOP putting toothpaste on your genitals however. That is, unless you have teeth down there! (It's not "nut paste"). Who in the world told you to put toothpaste there in the first place?

BTW...you're NOT a he-she. You're a 13 year old boy who's body is going through normal changes. You're fine...but tell you're mom about the itch and the testical deal.

Not a male, but u might be hitting puberty. Hair itches when it starts to grow in. Toothpaste isn't going to help, unless u like the minty fresh feeling. They should not "pop" in and out, however. U might have a dr look at that.

This is because of fungal infection. Put some antifungal cream. It will be alright
