go see another doctor. I suspect an infection of some sort. Before you say the medicine isn't working, we need to make sure she is taking it properly. Assuming she is, we need to find out what she really has and work out another treatment plan.

What did the doctor say is wrong? If it's an STD, she mustn't have sex till it is cleared up. And her bf must be treated, too, or he will reinfect her. If she has had other partners, they need to be told, too. Is that why she can't let her bf know?

If it is a yeast infection, women can get this without ever having sex. It is nothing to be ashamed of! But if that is the case, her bf has to be treated, too, or again, he will reinfect her. Many men can carry this and not have any symptoms.

So make sure she gets back to the doctor, and tell him the medicine isn't working. Be a good friend and convince her to do this!

Regular discharge is normal and fluctuates throughout the month because of your menstrual cycle. If there is a foul odor it could be a yeast infection. Do not use douches, this disrupts the natural bacteria in your vagina that are neccessary to maintain a healthy environment. If you are on meds, it could be the culprit for this, some meds disrupt the bacteria as well. Go back to the doctor and tell them what's up. And as for the boyfriend... tell him you're having girl stuff and leave you alone!

If she isn't ready to have her doctor check it out yet, she can try changing her diet. She also needs to drink more water. Generally, to reduce body odors, she'll need to cut back on beer, breads, and foods with sulfurous foods (like beans and red meats). Eating more fruits and green vegetables and drinking more water will definitely help if it's not a more serious health problem. Good luck!

Some discharge is normal Sounds like she needs to go back to her Dr. I would see a Gyn and not a family Dr. He/she will know what to do. If she is going to a Gyn and not finding help get another. She should son... It may be serious.

FIRST OF ALL IF IT HAS AN ODOR.....IT IS EITHER AN STD OR A BACTERIAL INFECTION AND SHE SHOULD SEE A DR. OF COURSE IT CAN BE EMBARRASSING BUT YOU GOTTA THINK ABOUT HOW MANY PATIENTS THOSE DRS HAVE SEEN, AND BELIEVE ME THEY'VE SEEN WORSE THEN JUST A LITTLE DISCHARGE. NOTHING OTHER THEN THAT WILL HELP. YOU CAN DOUCHE AND SHOWER 2X + A DAY AND IT WILL STILL BE THERE. I KNOW IT SUCKS AND IT IS EMBARRASSING. CHANCES ARE SHE GOT IT FROM HER BF UNLESS SHE HAS BEEN WITH SOMEONE ELSE. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP A.S.A.P.
