Well of course I am going to go with people kat..why would i go along? anyways, I am new to the area because I moved here with my boyfriend who goes to college here.

to go to a young adult group age go to goodbar on halsted. it isn't quite downtown, but there are more the ages of 21-25 there so you might feel more comfy. downtown, you can try going to rockit bar and grill, which is on state and something, forgot the street but check their wesite out. known for the burgers. right on state and grand there is rock bottom but it's more adult hanging out place..but they brew their own beer and it's good. other than that, i say check out metromix.com and just go explore and bar hop. you can also go down wrigglyville and check out all the bars there. bar louie has good drinks and food too well, happy birthday and have lots of fun~!!

if you don't know then maybe you shouldn't go downtown, stay in your home town, where you know people, unless you have some to take you downtown
