Your brother is probably terrified at this moment that you are going to "out" him. Here are some things you should consider: - Your brother is 13. He may have just been experimenting and may not in fact be gay so much as "curious." - Your brother may be so uncomfortable with what you saw that any attempt to talk to him about may result in him getting very upset. - Your brother might have come to understand that he is gay, I know I did at that age, but may not yet be ready to talk about with others. - Your brother is still your brother. You love him, he loves you. You may have sibling rivalries, but you're still family. - Being bi/gay is normal. If your brother is bi/gay he was born that way and it wasn't a choice. - Many young gays and lesbians live in absolute terror that their families will abandon them if their parents find out they are gay. Now that all that has been stated you should approach your brother for the purpose of easing his fears, turmoil, that you'll tell his parents that he is gay. His telling them needs to be something he does on his own terms and when he is ready. What if this was just some experimentation (even if it happens several times) and then he comes to the conclusion he likes girls more? If you lock him into the identity of "you're gay" before he's had a chance to figure out what he is that's not a diserable outcome either. But what do I mean by "figure out" if being gay isn't a choice? Well, even though being gay isn't a choice it takes some people time to fully understand the biological impulses their bodies are sending them. From the time we are born we receive a lot of information from the world around us that tells us being straight is what is normal. Meanwhile our bodies are telling us a very different story. Many gays take time to fully "get" what it is they are feeling and to come to understand it. Your brother might be gay, or he might not be. You need to talk to him though and tell him you still love him and that you are going to keep his secret because it's his job to come to terms with it, not your job to force him to.

YES!! Losing your virginity does NOT mean it must involve a penis and a vagina, nor is it about having children! "Virgin" simply means untouched. Trust me, when your brother has had sex with someone, male or female - he's no longer a virgin. ALSO - I would like to clarify that losing your virginity does NOT mean "intercourse." A woman can lose her virginity to another female. It isn't strictly about a penis and intercourse, unless it is heterosexual sex. Losing your virginity means being touched sexually by another person. Oral sex counts as losing your virginity in lesbian sex.

I will never have sex with a man, but I considered myself "deflowered" because of the things I did with my ex girlfriend. It's all about perspective, but I'll say this: I'm no nun!!!

it's kind of like the old saying "you're only as old as you feel"...well you're only as loose as you feel...if you want to call yourself a virgin, knock yourself out, I don't think anyone will fault you. Personally I lose my virginity at least once a week.

A virgin is a person who has never had sexual intercourse. It doesn't matter if your brother wants to do it with the school mascot, once he has sex, he's no longer a virgin.

Yes, I believe he will loose it. Virginity is subjective. Performing oral maybe viewed as loosing ones' virginty, do to the fact that, the innosence of not having performed a sexual act is gone..

Knowledge is power babe and virginity is a 19th century concept
"It is an infantile superstition of the human spirit that virginity would be thought a virtue and not the barrier that separates ignorance from knowledge."
