to answer crazy instead, the sky is blue because that is the light which reflects off the water only making the sky look blue. When the clouds get in the way you only see them. Good enough?

Oh ya, and the grass is green, so long as you water it and don't let the dog piss on it, because of chlorophyl and light.

Chlorophyll and also to maximise light absorbtion.
Red - orange - yellow - GREEN - blue - indigo - violet

Red is the furthest colour from green and so mostly absorbed.

if you look at deep sea plants, many are red because blue and green light is all that penetrates the deeper water.

because it's more comforting to the eye. orange grass would be to harsh, for example. red grass, to overpowering. and bluegrass is already taken, it's in Kentucky. hope this helps.
