Put a freshwater fish in saltwater and it will get very thirsty very quickly! Not all species though, some can adapt.

Fish don't need to drink as water goes through the whole body all the time. Basically they drink non-stop because they breathe water.

Yes, they do.
They pee...where is the waste coming from?
Freshwater fish excrete a high amount of low concentration urea in their pee.
Saltwater fish, on the other hand, need to 'drink' water due to their salty environment. They drink water and excrete a small amount of highly concentrated urea in their pee in order to keep fluid and salt levels balanced in their bodies. Otherwise, their kidneys would malfunction (and quite possibly lead to dropsy).

This is like saying : " I wonder why fish do not drown ? Fish are built / streamlined / for life in the water, and God also made them so that their thirst needs would be looked after in their own way.

They must do. I have to top up the water in my tropical fish tank every month.

Yes, but only for Evian straight up and no ice, or a pinch of salt, if they ask for it.
